Update: Obuya pulls out as Kenya names Uganda – bound squad
The Kenya Cricket Normalization Committee appointed – Selection Committee has named an 18 – man squad to face hosts – Uganda and Nigeria in upcoming limited overs’ bilateral and tri – series’ next month.
the team departs on Thursday, 2nd September to play three 50 – over matches against Uganda on 4th, 5th and 7th September in the inaugural ‘Derby Trophy.’
Nigeria joins the two teams in an ICC – sanctioned Tri series featuring 13 T20Is from 9th – 18th September.
Shem Ngoche will pick up the skipper’s armband from where he left off in 2019 in the team that has four debutants – left arm orthodox spinner Vraj Patel, wicket keeper batters Zahid Abbas and Brian Likavu as well as opening batter Steve Odhiambo.
